The sales team at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown DC hired me to photograph the first wedding reception at their hotel since the COVID-19 pandemic began. I was stoked to be hired to document it so the hotel could use them for marketing purposes to entice more clients to book events in their venue.

The event was so much fun! The love in the room was strong as the same sex couple, as well as their friends and family expressed their love for each other, and danced, flipped, and laughed. Happy clients make me happy too.

MAGGIE AND BROCK

My cousin Maggie and new brother-in-law Brock got hitched via Zoom in the presence of family and friends from across the country who could not attend in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they asked me to capture the special moment where they united together in marriage on the rooftop of their apartment building.

It was a privilege to be there for them to photograph this celebration of love. It was a beautiful moment seeing an interracial couple coming together and not letting the pandemic keep them from tying the knot.
